The bridge-opening ceremony was attended by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in San Francisco and by California Governor Culbert Olson in Marin County. Tot Spot – This exhibit is designed specifically for children 6 months to 3 years old. It features a water table, soft blocks, and a crawl tunnel.
Outdoor Discovery – This exhibit features a climbing structure, a water play area, and a sandbox.
The Studio – This exhibit is perfect for budding artists. It includes an art easel, clay station, and dress-up area.

The Battery is a historic site located in Spencer, CA. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Battery is significant for its role in the American Civil War and the American Revolutionary War. The Battery was built in 1808 by the United States Army to protect the new nation’s western frontier. It was named after Major General Richard B. Spencer, who served as the Commander-in-Chief of the United States Army during the American Civil War. The Battery was used as a base of operations for the Union Army during the American Civil War. It was also used as a staging ground for the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I. The Battery is currently open to the public as a museum and historic site.
The Marine Mammal Center is a nonprofit organization, and its mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and release marine mammals, and to advance global ocean conservation. Marine Mammal Center’s main center is located in Sausalito, California, United States, with additional locations in Marin County, Mendocino County and San Luis Obispo County.
